Individual, Couples and Family therapist
I am a psychotherapist in New York City with over fifteen years of experience in the field. In 2015, I received my master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from New York University, in 2022 I completed a four-year advanced training program in couples and family therapy at The Ackerman Institute in NYC, and this past year I completed Ken Hardy’s “Race and Racial Equity Train the Trainer” residency through the Eikenberg Academy for Social Justice. As a therapist, I offer a collaborative and integrative style that draws from relational-cultural, narrative, somatic, feminist, and mindfulness-based theories. I am LGBTQ-aware and affirming. Social justice and cultural humility are at the root of all the work I do.
With curiosity, care, and respect, I will invite you to reflect upon the interconnectedness of your thoughts, feelings, desires, belief systems and values, as well as your social locations, your roles, your creative expressions, the ways you inhabit your body, and how you experience and navigate the relationships in your life, both past and present. Understanding that people are endlessly complex and ever-changing, I will hold space for your many parts to emerge. Together we will welcome what is hiding, disavowed, contradictory, and overwhelming with the goal of integration and self-knowledge, which will support you living authentically, in alignment with your gifts and values.
